The report contains PDF images of all newly permitted West Virginia oil and gas well plats. Also, images of the well records, plugging plats, affidavits of plugging and cancelled permits are provided as they are filed with the state. The report is organized by county, and type of information and listed on an easy to understand index sheet. Subscription includes an Excel spreadsheet of the weekly report.

Format:

The report's online database is searchable by: DATE (the date scanned into the database), COUNTY NAME, DISTRICT NAME, WELL NAME, PERMIT NUMBER, PERMIT DATE, OPERATOR NAME, QUADRANGLE NAME, WELL DEPTH, and GEOLOGIC FORMATION.

Timing

Each week as the State of West Virginia issues new well permits and as other oil and gas records become available, we update our report's online database with them. This quickly gives our subscribers access to the very latest West Virginia well drilling information.
